The brand was founded by sisters Ayah and Aliaa Aboutera, inspired by their father who was part of the first wave of leather manufacturing in Egypt during the ‘70s and has passed his considerable knowledge and family atelier on to his daughters. Each of the label’s designs is 100% handmade by Egyptian craftspeople throughout the entire process: from cutting  leather, to inserting the studs and shredding the leather fringes.
